Silk Value Chains: CAREC's Role in Enhancing International Value Chains Along the New Silk Road

Muzaffar Razakov is CEO and Co-founder of Global Textile group of companies, one of the leading cotton and textile clusters in Uzbekistan. Global Textile is a vertically integrated group of companies, which started its activity in 2017. As of today,  the textile cluster has about 15 enterprises, starting from seeding the cotton to garment production and enrolls more than 6.5 thousand employees.

Previously Muzaffar served as Business and Financial consultant in world-known companies in Saudi Arabia and Switzerland. He holds master’s degree from University of Trier (Germany) and Doctoral Degree from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
