Deputy Minister of Energy of Georgia

Prior to his appointment in the Ministry, Ilia Eloshvili was deputy chief of party in USAID funded project – “Tetra Tech Inc”. From 2008 to 2010 he was deputy CEO of “Millennium Challenge Georgia” (MCG). Mr. Eloshvili has been a general director of “Wissol Gas Distribution, ltd” and deputy general director of “Wissol Petroleum, ltd” in 2007-2008 years. Previously, he was employed as a central west and west region director in “United Energy Distribution Company/PA Consulting Group”, where, in 2006, he received an award in the International Platinum and Gold nominations for the transformation of the state-owned electricity distribution company.

Mr. Eloshvili holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the Utrecht Business School, University of Professional Education. He participated in number of professional certificate programs, among them in “Association of US Marine Corps Engineers”, where he received a certification of Quality Control Specialist.
