Dana Meager
Ms. Dana Meager assumed the position the Deputy Minister of Finance of the Slovak Republic in April 2016.
Ms. Dana graduated from the Faculty of Commerce at the University of Economics in Bratislava.
Before an appointment she served as the Vice President of the Financial Administration at the Financial Directorate of Slovakia, since 2013.
Previously, since 2004, she held an executive position at the tax department in the Slovak Gas Industry Company.
Until then, she worked in a private sector mainly as a tax consultant and analyst such as Deloitte and KPMG.
Presently Dana is a member of the High Level Working Group for taxation and customs of the Council of the EU, she was also appointed as the Permanent observer to the EAEU – Eurasian Economic Union.
Since June 2017 she represents the Slovak Republic as the Plenipotentiary of the Government of the Slovak Republic for negotiations on One Belt One Road Initiative.
