Mutua Muthusi
Mr. Muthusi is currently the Director of the Executive Office of the International Bureau of the Universal Postal Union.
He has over 20 years of experience working in the postal environment. He started his postal career at the Kenya Post and Telecommunications Corporation, where he handled communications and international relations. He later moved to the Communications Commission of Kenya on its establishment in 1999 as Director of Consumer and Public Affairs. The organisation is the regulatory authority for Posts, Telecommunications, Broadcasting and E-Business.
In this docket at the regulatory authorty, as part of his duties, he has been in charge of international relations, communication and consumer outreach that has seen him participate in major postal forums, including four Universal Union's Congresses, as head of the Kenyan delegation.
A communication professional, Mr. Muthusi had worked as newspaper and television editor in Kenya's private media industry prior to joining the postal world. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration, a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communications, and a Bachelor or Arts degree from leading indtitutions in Kenya.
