NEWS / Dimitry Kumsishvili: It is easy to start business in Georgia

First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili, during his speech at the Tbilisi Belt & Road Forum, overviewed Georgia’s success in the international rankings. He specially highlighted the Moody’s last rating where Georgia’s sovereign ranking was improved from Ba3 to Ba2 and the situation in the country was evaluated as stable. The Moody’s named the main factors of the success the simplicity of starting business and the business environment.

First Vice Prime Minister also stressed on the World Bank trustworthy ranking – Ease of Doing Business, which advanced Georgia from the 16th position to the 9th among 190 countries. 

“It is easy to start business in Georgia,” – the First Vice Prime Minister stated and talked about all the advantages that Georgia has in terms of business environment.
