First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili, when delivering speech at the Tbilisi Belt & Road Forum, highlighted such format of the cooperation between the Government and the private sector as the Investors Council, which is the independent consultancy body under the Prime Minister aiming at provision of the dialogue between the representatives of the private sector, international organizations, donors and the Government of Georgia in order to create beneficial, non-discriminative, transparent and just business and investment environment. 

First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia said that the inclusion of the private sector in the decision making process is crucial and the Investors Council is a vivid example. Dimitry Kumsishvili noted that the Prime Minister and members of the Cabinet as well as the representatives of the business associations and international financial organizations attend this regularly held platform.

“The moment when the private sector has a problem, it addresses the relevant business association, which bring the issue for the consideration by the Prime Minister’s cabinet – brings the problem for our consideration. You can imagine how quick is the communication process” – First Vice Prime Minister stated.
