Response to the Maritime in Transition

Mr. Adrian George FOGHIS’ mandate as Secretary of State within the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Romania started in February 2021 - a right expected outcome of his 9 years of extensive experience in infrastructure projects as general manager of his natal Oradea County’s Metropolitan Area, and later of the National Romanian Federation of Metropolitan Areas and Urban Agglomerations.

Mr. Adrian George FOGHIS holds a Bachelor Degree in political science and sociology, as well as in management and economics. His professional portfolio comprises, among many others, the international experience within the position of Programme Manager for the VATI JTS Romania Hungary Cross Border Cooperation Programme.

As Secretary of State within the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Mr. FOGHIS was in 2021 coordinator of air transport and health infrastructure and since the beginning of 2022 he is coordinating the road transport and road safety, 3 Seas Initiative and the Black Sea – Caspian Sea International Transport Route and Middle Corridor.
