Energy Diversification - A Way Towards Energy Security

Mr. Elnur Soltanov gained Bachelor and Master degrees in International Relations at the Middle East Technical University in Turkey during the period of 1995-2003.
He was working as a researcher at the Center for Eurasian Strategic Studies in Turkey the period 2000-2003 and then completed PhD on Political Sciences at The Tech University (2009), USA, during the period 2003-2009.

He was engaged in pedagogical activities at Texas Tech University, Slippery Rock University and Thurman State University during the period 2004-2009.

Mr. Soltanov was at ADA University as Senior Teacher, Director of the Caspian Energy and Environmental Center, and Dean at the School of Public and International Relations during the period 2009-2018. He has been serving as Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan since 2018.

Hi is fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian, English and Turkish.
