Ian Burrell is a UK-based Media Consultant. He is the former Assistant Editor and Media Editor of The Independent, based in London, where he worked for 20 years.
He previously worked for the Sunday Times of London as an investigative reporter and for the ITV television network.
He was the UK’s regional reporter of the year. He writes columns on the media for the i paper, a UK national newspaper, and for The Drum, Europe’s leading website on marketing and media.
He is a published author and is a consultant for One Young World, the world’s leading international forum for young leaders.
