Natia Turnava
Natia Turnava was appointed at the position of the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia on 18 April, 2019, following the appointment at the position of the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, which she held since 2018.
Natia Turnava, having the PhD in Economic from the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, held high positions at state agencies such as the Deputy CEO of the Partnership Fund, the First Deputy Minister of Economy of Georgia, the Deputy Head of Financial and Budgetary Commission at Tbilisi City Council. She also held leading position at large private companies such as the Board Member of Georgian Industrial Group (GIG) and the CEO of Georgian International Energy Corporation (GIEC).
However, Natia Turnava still manages to follow the scientific life as she is an invited lecturer at various leading universities and an author of up to 40 scientific works, articles, monographies and 2 books.
